What is compote?
Compote is a type of preserves that begins with the whole fruit and is cooked down, often called "fruit stewed in it’s own juices or syrup."

How spicy are your compotes?
We call it "midwestern spicy," a mild heat and kick at the end of the bite allowing the fruit to shine through.

Are your compotes gluten-free?
Yes, all of our compotes are gluten free, free of all preservatives and artificial sweeteners.

How long do your compotes last?
Our compotes are shelf-stable until opening and should be refrigerated after opening. They are good for two years from the date they were made. This information is indicated in the stamp on the bottom of the jar.

How long does it take to receive an order?
In-stock orders are shipped ground via UPS and typically arrive in 5-7 business days. Expedited orders generally arrive within 2 business days. Please note that large orders may arrive in separate packages on different days.

How are shipping charges generated?
Shipping costs are passed through from our carriers (UPS or USPS) based on order weight and delivery location.
